Job Description

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE

The ERP Specialist will be responsible for managing, implementing, customizing, and supporting the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to meet the organization's business needs and objectives. This role will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain data processing solutions to enhance the ERP systems for financial reporting and planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into ERP system configurations and customizations.
  • Lead the implementation and deployment of ERP system modules, including but not limited to finance, human resources, supply chain, engineering, and maintenance.
  • Configure and customize the ERP system to optimize business processes, workflows, and system performance. 
  • Assists in ensuring that external/internal regulations and policies governing data management are met, including regulations concerning security, audit, and privacy.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including user manuals, standard operating procedures, and technical specifications.
  • Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective utilization of the ERP system across the organization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, system errors, and data discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Works as a system analyst with key personnel to help define user needs and develop data processing solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, updates, and best practices in ERP technology and incorporate them into the organization's ERP system strategy.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business analysts, and vendors to evaluate and recommend system enhancements, upgrades, or new ERP software solutions.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and projects as required to support the organization's strategic initiatives.
  • Assists in supporting the management and employees in using the ERP in their allocated functions;
  • Performs all other duties as assigned from time to time.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Certification/Diploma in Database administration (Oracle, SQL)

KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES

Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum of 5 years’ practical experience, including integration, administration, reporting, and database management (SQL/Oracle).
  • Proven expertise in ERP implementation, customization, and support
  • Experience with IFS or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of ERP architecture, modules, and related accounting systems
  • Solid project management, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
